1. Are you able to follow the language used? Why or why not?

No, because he sings very fast.

2. What is the language like? How familiar are you with the vocabulary and expressions used?

Informal language or Colloquial words. We are not familiar with the vocabulary and the expressions used in the rap, because Zach uses lot of native phrases.

3. What is the rhythm like? Are you able to tap it?

1. How familiar are you with the ideas presented in the rap? Can you think of more examples of First World Problems?

we are familiar with this ideas, because we have some things that in our real life happened.  Another example is when you want to turn off the light and the person stay in the bed.

2. Can you identify with Zatch? Why or why not?

Yes, because we think that first world problems are unnecessary issues.

3. What emotions does the rap evoke in you?

We felt so disappointed with these kind of “problems”

Activity 5:

Play the rap again, and look at the lyrics while listening. If you wish, you can mouth the words silently.

• Can you identify words that rhyme?

- yes, like to make a bow - Wii remote control.

• How is the setting of the modern, Western World created?

-Like the whole western world is very rich, the opposite of Europe that is involved in economic crisis.

• Imagine going to back 50 years in time and playing this rap to someone living in the past. How would they react to the language and the ideas presented?

-They would feel like we are totally crazy because Zach makes me think that he and his culture spend a lot of unnecessary money in order to feel like they are rich.

Activity 6:

Play the rap again, and join in by readings aloud the lyrics. Can you keep up with zach? How about finally performing the rap without the backing video?

- people from the third world problem because we need to know about those problems and it is a decision for us take or leave it.

- I think that the best audience are teenagers because they have a good sense of humor

- I was so happy because that song was very funny and it has not changed because I still have the same sense of humor

The title means the superficial problems that superficial people suffer in their superficial country. The interpretation hasn’t change
